Tucked away in the lower level of The Grady hotel in downtown Louisville Ky, Wild Swann restaurant is definitely a hidden gem of Louisville Ky! As soon as you walk down the stairs you feel like you’ve been transported back in time to old world Louisville. With amazing music that sounds like it’s from the roaring twenties and the beautiful decor you can feel the history all around you. I almost felt like I was in the movie “Midnight in Paris” and I loved every second of it.

The Food:
What can I say, I’m a sucker for a good burger! But first lets talk about the sweet potato fries, I mean wow! Served in a cute basket on the plate, I loved how they looked next to the burger. Fried to crispy perfection, the sweet flavor combined with the sea salt-thyme worked perfectly together! However let me say, the mini ketchup to dip with was so cool and cute! I’ve never seen a ketchup bottle so small, lol :).
Now, on to the main course! A wonderfully cooked 6oz medium well patty, dressed with smoked cheddar, nueske’s bacon, crispy onions, butter pickles, tangy red pepper aioli, all neatly placed between a toasted brioche bun. WOW, I felt very, very fancy just looking at this burger! But how did it taste you might ask. It tasted exactly like it sounded, fancy! Every bite of this burger was wonderful, from the crispy bacon and onions to the little bit of kick of the red pepper aioli I promise you will love the burger!
