Stop number two on our Louisville Burger Week journey was none other than Cask Southern Kitchen & Bar and the “JUST IN QUESO” burger. Cask! is! awesome! With a friendly staff that was wonderful to me from the time I walked in, to the awesome Bourbon decor, to the huge bourbon selection. Cask did not disappoint at all!
Cask had been on my radar for a while now and thanks to Louisville Burger Week I was finally able to check it off of my must try list! Cask definitely has that awesome Kentucky Bourbon/Louisville vibe to it and the energy there was amazing! I was able to get seated quickly and my order came out quickly and cooked to perfection. With an entire menu of what looks like excellent southern cuisine made with love, we will definitely be back to review more fore sure!

The Burger?
Cask Southern Kitchen & Bar is offering up the “Just in Quest” Burger. A 1/3 pound smash burger with applewood smoked bacon, house made pimento cheese queso, tomato, mayo, cask pickles, and crispy onions. This burger takes things to the next level for sure. I’m normally not a huge pimento anything kind of person but this burger made me a believer. All of these flavors worked together perfectly and had a perfect level of crispy/crunch between the bacon and crispy onions!
