So technically I know this isn’t a restaurant review, but had to do it. Let me just say that cobbler and I have a special relationship, and my favorite cobbler is blackberry. However that is more of a spring time cobbler, and since we are in the fall season I had to review my favorite fall cobbler… PEACH!!
So here we go… Simply put it’s amazing lol, but let’s be honest with each other for a moment though, what peach cobbler isn’t amazing? And for complexity this is as simple of recipe it can get!! Two, that’s right count them TWO ingredients and done. One jar of Cracker Barrel Peach Cobbler mix, and one box of Krusteaz cobbler topping mix, and you will be on your way to enjoying the perfect fall desert.
With a warm gooey center and perfectly baked crust on top, just follow the directions on the box and you can’t go wrong. Trust me on this one it’s so simple and oh so yummy!!
However I must point out please note the cast iron. Any cobbler isn’t a true cobbler unless it’s made in a beautiful well seasoned cast iron skillet. Please enjoy responsibly, too much cobbler can cause a love of fall that will never end. You could wake up the next morning loving beautiful changing leaves colors, perfect weather, and possibly wind up with a slight southern accent!
P.S. don’t forget the vanilla ice cream ;)!!!!
