Bell House Restaurant! I have to say, what a beautiful, charming, and feels like home, type of place to go in Shelbyville Kentucky. As soon as I walked in I noticed the decor and I could feel the down home hospitality. I decided to take my wife and youngest baby there to enjoy a date lunch and honestly everything was perfect.
Since it was a beautiful blue sky day, we decided to enjoyed the outside front porch area for this visit. My wife and I rarely get to go on dates, so I decided to spring for the Lobster Bisque! I have to say I made a good life decision that day!
Centered in the heart of downtown Shelbyville Ky. Bell House Restaurant is a perfect place to enjoy a date night/lunch with your significant other. With a wide selection of foods on their menu you will enjoy some good ole home cooking just like mama used to make!

So what did I think of the Lobster Bisque? I loved it. With each bite I fell a little bit more in love with the wonderful flavor. How can you not when you’re enjoying something so good with your family and loved ones. What a wonderful experience, sitting on a front porch, good food, the best company!
It was creamy, warm and had just the right amount of lobster blended into the soup. The tomato base gave it a sweet and succulent flavor that had me asking for more. It was beautifully plated, garnished well and served with club cracker to dip. I would definitely recommend the next time you pay a visit!
